Nature

With over 20 dams interspersed with gorgeous meadows and forest the natural landscape makes for the perfect setting for easy lifestyle living in a secure upmarket area that is ideally suited for families who value the best life has to offer.The network of dams creates the opportunity for a range of wonderful and serene leisure activities. Fishing is a great recreational activity, often mountain bikers are seen on the trails and joggers get to appreciate the Bird life. The indigenous forest belts are home to a number of smaller buck species such as bushbuck and the rare blue and grey duiker.

Golf

An exclusive 18 hole Executive Golf Course meanders its way around the northern half of Simbithi Golf Estate. The course is designed to offer a thoroughly enjoyable golf experience for both young and old, and lower and higher handicap players. Par 5’s, 4's and 3's have been constructed to take full advantage of the scenic topography and a number of challenging water features and bunkers ensure a complete golfing experience. Rated as the Best New Course in Kwazulu Natal and ranked 32nd by Compleat Golfer, and winner of a 5 star Golf Experience award by Compleat Golfer, the golf course makes for an enjoyable round of golf.

Country Club

Simbithi Country Club is over 3,500m2 in extent with the main part built around a magnificent wild fig tree.

The new clubhouse has lounges, a restaurant and bar area, as well as smaller, more intimate spaces for private functions. There is also a large multi-purpose hall, which opens up onto the top level and swimming pool. This caters for resident's functions as well as weddings.

The residents only smaller clubhouse has become more dedicated to the tennis courts and swimming pool and also incorporates a gym.

Security

At the centre of the security system is the "control room", this is the communication hub for all security related matters on Simbithi Eco-Estate.

Manned and operated on a 24/7 (24 hour, seven day per week) basis, security aspects include: Security patrols, automated access, a central control room and CCTV.

Equestrian Centre

The 14 stables allow residents to stable their horses close by and enjoy riding in this beautiful and safe environment. This development has added to the country feel of Simbithi where families can come down to visit the horses. There is a club house overlooking the arena and a lawn area in front where they can get together and braai. The stables are run by a resident along with the team of grooms. The equestrian centre includes a tack room, feeding rooms, office, groom's quarters, nine paddocks, a large arena with jumps and a lungeing ring.

Beaches

Beach access is only 400m from the exclusive Thompson's Bay beach, the beach access gate has allowed for residents to park their cars/golf carts within the Estate affording residents with peace of mind.
